Fraser Anderson

Chief Instructor and Founder of KMS

Fraser is former student of Lau Gar Kung-Fu, Fraser has been practicing martial arts for over 25 years.

Fraser was also one of the founding instructors of Krav Maga in Scotland and started his first KMS class in 2006. Since then, he has been responsible for the training and development of most of the current senior instructors in the country.

Fraser still leads the training and development of all the current KMS Instructors and Coaches. He remains as passionate about providing self-defence training to students as the day he started.

Bob Menzies

Partner & Instructor (Krav Maga & Close Quarter Combat)

Bob started his Krav Maga journey as a student of KM Scotland and had no previous Martial Arts experience – He progressed up through our Grading System in Scotland and Poland. Working closely with Fraser, he ensures that KM Scotland remains one of the most respected Krav Maga organisations in the UK.

Bob’s passion lies in planning and building our bespoke seminars – The aim of these reality-based scenarios is to hone our skills and train outside a gym environment. His ethos and belief is that Krav Maga is for everyone, regardless of age, gender or fitness level.

Brett Sinclair

Senior Instructor (Krav Maga & Close Quarter Combat) - Falkirk & Grangemouth

Brett joined KMS as student in 2012 and quickly adapted to Krav Maga from his previous experience in karate.

He is now a qualified Civilian Krav Maga and Close Quarter Combat Instructor. Brett started his first KMS class in Falkirk at the beginning of 2015 and is now also the Instructor at the Grangemouth class.

Brett has a strong passion for learning and teaching the non-physical aspects of self-defence skills. He has studied Violence Dynamics and regularly attends seminars around the UK which he then applies during classes and specialist seminars for KMS.

Mick Cairns

Adult & Kadets Instructor - Perth & Cowdenbeath

Mick is an Former Royal Marine Commando who applies his military professionalism to his teaching.

With all his years in the Marines, he states that walking into his first Krav Maga lesson in Rosyth, Fife was one of the greatest experiences of his life, he quotes “I was hooked straight away!”.

He stated that he has tried other types of self-defence systems before, but nothing grabbed his attention like Krav Maga. He mentioned that that he noticed straight away that there was no ego, the moves were very effective and practical to learn and that the instruction was second to none!

Aaron Burnett

Instructor - Stirling

Aaron has been practicing martial arts since 1994 training in Karate, Taekwondo and Krav Maga. He started his Krav Maga journey in 2006 and became a coach in 2019. He is currently working towards achieving Instructor.

Aarons passion for Krav Maga comes from the change he saw in himself, overcoming his own fears and anxieties and seeing the same changes in the people he trains with. KMS gives Confidence, Personal growth, focus, and physical fitness through fun and realistic on point techniques and training methods that are easy for everyone to learn. Aaron enjoys teaching all he has learned to help others grow and keep safe.
